'Hawks Trump Champs in 10

Games notes from Game 12... Key West scored a run in the third inning, without benefit of a hit.  In fact, the JayHawks were held hitless by a myriad of Alabama pitchers until Gabe Kapler hit a homer to lead off the bottom of the ninth.  Then with two out in the bottom of the tenth, Darren Lewis singled off Paul Quantrill, then stole second.  Jose Cruz drew an intentional walk.  Gabe Kapler stepped to the plate, and provided the "Big Boy" play of the game.

Transcript from the JayHawks Radio Network...

"Quantrill comes set.
Checks the runners hanging out at first and second.
He gets the sign from Posada.
And the pitch to Kapler.
Swung on and lined... FAIR!
DOWN THE LEFT FIELD LINE!!
Lewis will come around third and score easily.
AND THIS ONE BELONGS TO THE 'HAWKS!!!"
