The ABL Power Index gives you an idea of exactly which team is playing the best baseball.  The Index is based on the twelve most important statistical team categories.  The team that leads the category receives 8 points, second receives 7, and so on down to 1 point.  The points are then totalled to determine each team's Power Index.  The Index measures the year-to-date stats and is taken at the end of each quarter.  Categories and abbreviations: Offense- BA: batting average, SL: slugging percentage, OB: on-base percentage, R: runs scored, HR: home runs, SB: stolen bases; Defense- W: wins, ER: earn run average, RA: hits and walks allowed per inning, K: strikeouts, CG: complete games, SV: saves. PI: Power Index points.
